For the first time, French companies that have developed a solution based on blockchain technology will be part of the French delegation at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas from January 5 to 8, 2022. Led by the Fédération Française des Professionnels de la Blockchain (FFPB), with the support of the Foreign Trade Advisors and accompanied by MP Jean-Michel Mis, these companies illustrate the place that France intends to take in this new economy.

To Jean-Michel Mis, MP,"The French ecosystem of blockchain technologies shows by the diversity of its companies and its expertise that it is an instrument for our industrial competitiveness, our economic attractiveness but also our digital and financial sovereignty. And "it is time to assert it on the biggest international stage of technologies that is the CES in Las Vegas.

"The presence of French companies at the world's largest tech show demonstrates all the momentum that the FFPB wants to drive to grow our companies. The Federation is fully invested in actively promoting the development of companies in the Blockchain industry on a national and supranational scale. This delegation is just one of the many illustrations of this", underlines the entrepreneur Rémy Ozcan, President of the FFPB.

The active participation of major French companies in the only zone dedicated to disruptive innovation illustrates once again the major impact of Blockchain technology in the current and future economy.

The CES is indeed the essential and strategic meeting place for disruptive innovations.

"It is simply the global reference that, from the beginning of the year, gives the positioning of disruptive technologies and uses in terms of industry and services for the year with an exceptional effervescence of all ecosystems," emphasizes Gilbert Réveillon, Foreign Trade Advisor.

And the numbers speak for themselves: before the health crisis, CES brought together up to 4,500 exhibitors from 150 countries, 20,0000 innovations, 15,000 investors and over 180,000 visitors.

CES, an international showcase for French expertise in blockchain technology

Less than two years after its creation, the French Federation of Blockchain Professionals is bringing several French flagship companies marketing blockchain solutions to the world's largest tech show. These companies reflect the French expertise in blockchain technology and the place that France intends to take in this industry.

Beyond the highly symbolic character for the professionalization of the French ecosystem, the constitution of a French delegation of blockchain allows to mark the presence of French companies alongside global players and to resonate the strengths and ambitions of France in the global competition around this technology.

SUEZ, Iznès, Exaion (EDF), Mobile LOOV and Tessi are among the companies that will embody French know-how in blockchain technology alongside Rémy Ozcan, President of the FFPB, Gaëlle Marraud des Grottes, Secretary General of the FFPB and MP Jean-Michel Mis

Offering solutions in sectors as varied as the circular economy, asset management (distribution of investment fund shares), blockchain as a service solutions, electronic voting and NFTs, these companies will be present in the French Pavilion, in the EUREKA PARK area dedicated to disruptive innovation.

An important step in the development of these companies

To make its solution known beyond the French borders and to multiply the meetings with future customers, partners and international investors are also the objectives of this trip. A powerful development gas pedal:

"We want to assert our place in the Fintech world, improve our international visibility and confirm our role in the new ecosystem of financial players. We are also coming to meet VCs interested in the new DLT (blockchain) infrastructures" underlines Christophe Lepitre, CEO of Iznes.

A facilitator of large-scale scientific, commercial and industrial exchanges with North America, both the United States and Canada.

As points out Christophe Lepitre : "Today, our clients investing through this platform can be domiciled anywhere in the world, including the United States. This is an opportunity for US institutional investors to invest in continental European domiciled funds using a fast, transparent and low cost digital solution."

It's also an opportunity to preview new solutions. "With a startup in which I have invested, we have developed not only technological solutions for increased security of transactions on blockchain and NFT but also a DAO on several verticals. These breakthrough innovations will be revealed at this year's CES and CES GovTech world trade show where I am Chairman Europe CES GovTech EDGE," explains for his part Gilbert Réveillon.

As for Tessi, it will present "DigitalVote by tessi, a new innovative digital voting system that is secure and respectful of personal data based on unique algorithms and infrastructures thanks to the Blockchain."

To meet the growing need for transparency and trust in waste management, SUEZ, a major player in environmental services, will present "CircularChain®. This digital innovation supports industrialists and companies in their ecological transition by promoting the reuse of secondary raw materials and providing exemplary traceability of materials throughout the recovery cycle.

Finally, the blockchain subsidiary of energy giant EDF aims to accelerate its development in the Blockchain as a Service, cloud and HPC markets. Exaion's presence alongside GAFAM and BATX is a strong signal of its ambitions.

A structuring step to capture the reaction to these announcements, to measure the enthusiasm and the appetence for a service, a product or a solution among a professional and informed public.
