The Banque de France publishes the list of candidates selected for central bank digital money (MDBC) experiments in interbank settlements. Following the examination of the applications received on May 15 in response to the call for applications launched by the Banque de France, the following 8 applications were selected, in alphabetical order: Accenture, Euroclear, HSBC, Iznes, LiquidShare, ProsperUS, Seba Bank and Société Générale-Forge. This list gives pride of place to the historical heavyweights of finance, even with companies such as Iznes and Liquidshare recently created and whose shareholders are among the traditional banking players.
